Master Works:
The Degas Plays

Spring 2014:
Location TBA

Six Paintings!  Six Plays!  Six new pieces of art!

Famous for capturing female dancers and playing with unusual angles, Edgar Degas influenced several major modern artists, including Picasso.  Now, Commedia Beauregard calls upon the Parisian painter to inspire six new plays which translate his works to the stage.

Six award-winning playwrights and six up-and-coming directors compete for the awards of "Best Translation" and "Audience Favorite"

We need your help.  The Playwrights start writing their plays in January.  The Directors receive the scripts in February.  The plays go up in April.  But, before any of that can happen, we need to choose the paintings.  Four of the six paintings have been selected.  See them here.

We still need to select two more.  Those two will be selected by votes on this site.  Voting will close on December 31st, 2013.  Please vote for your two favorites below. (Click on the thumbnails to see larger versions of the paintings).
